Follow in the footsteps of the Urban Sketching movement as we record our lives one sketch at a time.

This class will instill the daily sketching habit as we make marks expressing our everyday journeys on location anywhere and anytime. No waiting for the muse to strike in this class! Be prepared to draw the world as you view it each day.

Bring a small sketchbook that is comfortable to hold outside, an eraser, and a 2B pencil.

You may bring any other mark-making tool you have, ballpoint pen, fountain pen, rapidograph, etc .

Keep your equipment minimal and be prepared to move around inside and out. If you are using watercolor bring a waterbrush and a very small palette.

Helpful equipment: clipboard close to the size of your sketchbook. Elastic to hold your sketchbook open or bull dog clips to clip your sketchbook to your board. Demos will be in pencil, ink and watercolor
